Why we built debrieft
The story behind a client management platform built specifically for web designers — from intake to handover.
Every web design project starts the same way. A potential client reaches out, you hop on a call, take some notes, then spend hours turning those notes into something useful. A brief. A quote. A contract. A portal. A handover page.
We built debrieft to handle all of that — from the first intake form to the final handover hub — in one platform that carries your brand, not ours.
The problem
Most client management tools are built for general service businesses. Photographers, coaches, consultants. They capture contact info and send invoices. But they don’t understand web design projects.
They don’t ask about page requirements, content gaps, CMS preferences, or hosting needs. They don’t generate quotes based on your actual rates. They don’t draft contracts with deliverables, timelines, and payment milestones specific to each project.
Our approach
debrieft is built exclusively for web designers. The intake form asks the right questions. The AI generates structured briefs with risk flags. Quotes are calculated from your hourly rates and per-page pricing. Contracts include real deliverables and phased payment schedules.
Everything your client sees carries your brand — your logo, colors, fonts, and studio name. debrieft is invisible to them.
What’s next
We’re just getting started. More on the roadmap soon.
